Born and raised in Houston, TX, my goal is to showcase my city. I’ve traveled the world and there’s not another city like Houston. There’s an inexplicable sense of pride seeing where you were raised depicted on the big screen. Seeing Linklater’s Boyhood was very important for me in my earlier years. I hope I can do the same for the next young filmmaker living in Houston.
